The international community including the United Nations, the United States, the European Union and many other countries and non-governmental organizations around the world strongly support the safety and human rights of the demonstrators. They are urging the military junta to immediately stop its bloody crackdown and to release all those who were arrested.

On behalf of the Non-Violent Movement For Human-Rights in Vietnam (Cao Trao Nhan Ban), we would like to share our warm concerns, empathy and solidarity with the Burmese people. We are trying to do everything possible to help promote their just cause in the world spotlight. Our over-seas department is committed to fully support the Burmese people's noble sacrifices.

We hope for the best, but always prepare for the worst. Personally I believe that the junta is being exposed and challenged as never before. It is being given a choice of whether to be replaced by people power or accept the democratization of Burma.

By dedicating all your life for that noble cause, you are not only speaking out for justice in your own country, but also for all those who aspire to be free to choose their own destiny. Although I also am under a form of house arrest, I can assure you that the Vietnamese people are closely observing events in Burma. Whether the cry for freedom comes from Middle-East, Africa, Latin-America, South Asia or South-East Asia, it has a common Truth: all people must be treated with Dignity; all people need Hope.

We wish Buddha's blessing for the Burmese people at this critical historic moment. We hope that a miraculous enlightenment of the military junta will lead to a bright future for

Burma through dialogue and reconciliation with pro-democracy movements, including your National League For Democracy.
